Mr. Freeman still at the helm!
2007 sees 50 years of Freeman Cruisers, from the first boat in 1957 the Freeman name continues, holding the same distinction of quality.
We celebrated on 26th August 2007 with the Freeman 50th Fun Day, a wonderful day was had by all and thank you to everyone who helped throughout the weekend.
The 50th Fun Day 2007
The 50th Fun Day got under way with a live band, trade stands, the bar and BBQ and of course the Freeman Shop! Later in the day the Freeman boat rides proved extremely popular, with current and perspective owners using the opportunity to experience other Freeman's and the River Thames!
Mr. Freeman joined us for the afternoon and was touched by the continuing love and appreciation for the boats he developed. The Freeman Fly Past grabbed everyone's attention as the boats sailed past to rapturous applause. The day drew to an end with barn dancing, a pig roast and 50th Anniversary fireworks all on the banks of the glorious River Thames.
The 50th Photo Gallery features a number of photos from the day, see if you can spot your boat or simply relive the fantastic event.
